Office Engineer

Department: TRANSPORTATION CSD
Location: Annapolis, MD

ATCS is seeking an Office Engineer to work in the Annapolis, MD area. The Office Engineer is a field office position performing a variety of construction support tasks for our client, MD State Highway Administration.

This individual will assist in project documentation, coordination, and communication between various stakeholders. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Key Role Requirements:

  • Maintain project records, documentation, and correspondence.
  • Schedule project meetings, take notes and action items and distribute meeting minutes to meeting attendees.
  • Prepare reports and analyze project data for the project management team
  • Prepare regular status reports for the project management team
  • Monitor progress and financial key performance indicators for all aspects of the project and provide reports as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in construction project support, office engineering, or document control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (Procore, eMCMS, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license

Our employees are the most critical part of ATCS. For this position, we offer a competitive hourly rate of $23.31 - 39.00 commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary.
